1. Acceptance of Professional Terms

By accessing the DataSift platform, you agree to comply with these professional Terms of Service. DataSift provides specialized tools for financial analysis, data cleaning, and audit automation. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform aligns with your organization's internal data governance policies.

2. Calculation Accuracy & Logic Precision

DataSift utilizes a specialized Fixed-Point Arithmetic Engine designed to minimize floating-point errors common in standard spreadsheets.

  • While we aim for 100% precision, DataSift is provided on an "As-Is" basis.
  • Users are required to perform a final manual verification of mission-critical audit results or financial submissions.
  • DataSift is not responsible for errors arising from incorrect user-defined logic, mismatched column types, or malformed source files.

3. Logic Pipelines & Template Ownership

You retain full ownership of the logic pipelines and templates you create. DataSift provides the infrastructure to save and recurringly apply this metadata. You agree not to:

Reverse engineer proprietary calculation logic or platform source code.

Use automated scripts to "scrape" or bypass platform-level rate limits.

Upload data that violates corporate privacy laws or international security standards.

4. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL DATASIFT, ITS EMPLOYEES, OR ITS SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE LOSS OF DATA, CALCULATION ERRORS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS. THE TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS.

5. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction and any disputes will be resolved through professional arbitration.
